Indigo Cox is a woman-centric physician-researcher who enjoys serving women in her practice, and writing about important women’s health issues.  She lives and plays in North Carolina with her husband, her two teenage girls, and her always playful middle-aged mutt.  Her real-life experiences providing reproductive healthcare on the front-lines, and her own personal struggles as a professional woman of color have inspired her to write about them in a way that speaks to other young woman who have gone through similar struggles.  She is thrilled to combine her artistic nature with her experiences as a professional woman who has endured many of the challenges that women have often had to face in their lives in hopes to inspire them to continue to reach for greater self-determination and self-healing.
